CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS FILE PETITION IN COURT SEEKING PRONOUNCEMENT ON THE FINAL CUSTODIAN INSTITUTION FOR CHAPTER 6 OF THE CONSTITUTION

On 27th April 2022, TISA in partnership with Inuka Kenya, Kenya Human Rights Commission and Transparency International Kenya have filed a petition in The High Court of Kenya seeking a pronouncement on the vetting and clearing threshold & the final custodian institution for Chapter 6 of the Constitution.

Chapter 6 of the Constitution on leadership and integrity must be enforced in the forthcoming general elections. We urge all Kenyans to unite at the ballot to reject individuals who have been implicated in unethical practices, corruption, and other criminal cases.
