A capacity building session for Community Policing Committee members
In 2019, 7 Ward Community Policing Committees and Forums (CPCs/CPFs) were established each constituting of 15-members representation National Police Service, NGAO, religious leaders, business community, Special groups in Baringo, Isiolo and Nairobi Counties.
Community policing seeks to ensure a safe and secure environment by establishing an active and equal partnership between police and the community. TISA in partnership with National Police service and community leaders established CPCs/CPFs and built their capacity to effectively deliver on their mandate.
