For over 15 years, The Institute for Social Accountability (TISA) has championed citizen-led accountability by empowering communities to participate in governance, influence public policy, and demand transparency in the management of public resources.

Rooted in the belief that informed and active citizens are the foundation of good governance, we work alongside communities, public institutions, and development partners to promote accountability, social justice, inclusive development, and equitable resource distribution. Through civic education, policy advocacy, research, innovation, and strategic partnerships, we are building a Kenya where every voice matters and every public decision serves the common good.
