Mulayi Muni

Mulayi, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a Minor in French from United States International University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Film at Kenyatta University. With a track record of directing and scripting numerous films and adverts, her work has been recognized with nominations for Best Director in a TV Series at the Women in Film 2024 awards. 

Beyond her professional endeavours, Mulayi is deeply committed to promoting transparency and social accountability. She has actively assisted with communications support for significant events such as the Global Peoples’ Tribunal & Road Marrakech demonstrations at the World Bank Annual Meetings in 2023, showcasing her dedication to amplifying important societal issues. 

With a passion for using edutainment to address pressing concerns, Mulayi aims to leverage her expertise in media to highlight and accurately portray complex topics like the public debt crisis in Africa. Her multifaceted background and experience make her a valuable advocate for positive change through storytelling and advocacy.
