ADVOCACY ON ACCESS TO INFORMATION.

Through collaborations with other civil society organizations, the media, movements, and the citizens, TISA achieved results-driven outcomes in the quest for an empowered citizen in matters of social, political, and economic accountability.

As a result of TISA’s civic training sessions in 2021, recipients of these training undertook peaceful demonstrations whose culmination was the submission of signed petitions to Parliament demanding the resignation of Amb. Ukur Yattani, the then Cabinet Secretary in charge of the National Treasury, for his inability to steer the country from a debt crisis, despite his constitutional mandate.
